I was charged $95 just to come and give me the wrong diagnostic. They sent a very young technician, obviously... inexperienced. I was going to be charged $800 to change the evaporator because my refrigerator "had a freon leak" but it wasn't that at all. I called someone else, who was just going to charge me $400 to replace the evaporator, assuming that the diagnostic was correct, and he said there was no freon leak, it was some kind of sensor that was causing the line to freeze. Terrible experience, don't use this company.read more

I had another company out to look at my washing machine as it was leaking. The tech showed up, ran my machine for five... minutes, said he found no issue and left. Within minutes of running the machine, it leaked all over my floor, flooding my laundry room. I called the manufacturer and was dispatched to Diamond Appliance repair. The ladies at the office called me the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment time. I told them I would need to leave work, they assured me that the tech would call me 30 minutes beforehand. Bryan called me the following day, 30 minutes beforehand just as promised. Upon arriving, I informed him of the situation and he began testing the machine, getting it to leak. He dismantled the machine to find the issue. A hose had come loose and he was able to fix it on the spot! Very professional, explained everything to me in terms I could understand and showed me the issue before repairing it. I cannot day enough good things about this company! Will definitely request service from them again when the time comes.read more

We called for a problem regarding our dryer. The technician showed up to our home and within minutes, told us it's our... electrical panel not the dryer. Fair enough, what's NOT at all fair is that they will charge you $95 service charge to show up. I don't want the entire service charge waived as I explained to the office manager, I would like something more reasonable. I wouldn't recommend this company for appliance repair, if they decide to change their mind I will certainly update this review, however at this time apparently (the owners were spoken to), and they feel what they charged was just. What's fair is fair, however, no one likes being blatantly ripped off. We signed the work order AFTER the technician told us what was wrong. Very unprofessional business. BTW, nothing was demanded, I was polite, courteous and pleasant, if I was so demanding (as the message below states) why would you ask me what I felt was a fair price? The receptionist/office manager/owner had as much attitude on the phone as message below would indicate. Quit ripping people off, SWFL is a small town word travels...read more

Had appointment between 12-5. Guy shows up at 12:05 I left work and got there at 12:18. He didn't wait for me. I'm... supposed to wait for 5 hours but he can't wait 13 minutes. Terrible customer service. When calling for warranty work, request anyone but them.read more

Not only are they not a Kitchen Aid or Whirlpool authorized service provider, they also charge the customer even when... they misdiagnose. This is poor business practice. Appliances have factory warranties beyond 1 year that cover parts and you should disclose this to your customers when working on Kitchen Aid or Whirlpool. Instead, I ended up paying an Authorized Kitchen Aid service provider to repair my dishwasher after Diamond charged me to misdiagnose the problem. Good business practice would be to refund the customer. I don't care if you had a guy out there for an hour...he misdiagnosed the problem and obviously didn't know what he was doing. Keep my money for absolutely nothing and here is your review!read more

Update: I have called Diamond for 2 more appliance repairs (a washing machine and stove) since they repaired our... fridge. Both subsequent visits went great. Excellent customer service by a family-run business that truly cares about their clients. We have used them several times and found them to be very efficient. Now a problem with the refrigerator ice maker. ... They came out 5 times and replaced many parts all to no avail. The problem is with LG. Diamond refunded my money and is helping with LG. Extremely honorable people. Their primary concern is making the customer happy. GREAT people.read more
